At Local London we know that that across our nine boroughs there is shared ambition to do better by young people, and ensure they have the skills, confidence and opportunities needed to thrive in employment. But this ambition is held back by a lack of coordination across the system – leading to siloed work rather than collective action.

In response to this Local London is hosting a summit on Wednesday 25th June 2025 that will bring together educational professionals, business leaders, young people, experts and key stakeholders from across our nine London Boroughs. The Youth Summit will spark generative discussions about the critical issues facing young people in their employment journey. It will be action-orientated and forward-looking through focusing on collectively developing an action plan that can practically improve local employment outcomes for young people.
